One of the great parts about visiting Ogle Brothers General Store in Sevierville is that you’re also close to some of the best places in the Smokies, like popular restaurants and incredible lodging. 1. Dine at Five Oaks Farm Kitchen
Breakfast, lunch, or supper—there is never a bad time to dine at Five Oaks Farm Kitchen. This popular restaurant is right next door to our Smoky Mountain shop. If you’re in the mood for delicious Southern cooking, this is a must-stop place for you. For breakfast, enjoy giant cinnamon rolls, thick griddle cakes, or Harvest Morning Bounty specials. For lunch, try one of a fried smoked bologna sandwich, chicken and dumplings, or open faced pot roast. For supper, you can’t go wrong with the fried chicken, chicken pot pie, or Southern fried steak. 2. Get Ice Cream at Cruze Farm

Cruze Farm is famous for its freshly churned ice cream made with milk from the family’s dairy farm. Cruze Farm started as a newlywed couple’s dream and has now turned into 4 thriving locations and over 30 years of memories! Originally a scoop shop located in East Knoxville, Cruze Farm now has 3 permanent spots in Knoxville and now one in Sevierville. Each week, the ice cream shop has new featured flavors for visitors to try, along with some long-time favorites among customers. Brown Butter, Lavender Honey, and Sweet Cream are all popular choices among customers. You can get the ice cream in a cup or a cone, or get a pint to take back to your hotel with you!
3. Stay at The Lodge at Five Oaks
Another one of the best things to do in Sevierville near Ogle Brothers General Store is to stay at The Lodge at Five Oaks. This popular hotel is right off the Parkway in Sevierville and within walking distance to our shop. The hotel has a variety of rooms so that everyone from couples to families can enjoy a stay.
